WebFiling is a professional software platform designed specifically for UK accountants, company secretaries, law firms, and business formation agents who manage Companies House filings on behalf of their clients.
Where the official Companies House WebFiling portal handles individual filings in isolation, WebFiling gives you a complete portfolio management environment — with a client company register, a live deadline dashboard, automated reminders, reusable contact records, and generated client documents all integrated in one place.
Why we built it
Managing statutory filing obligations across a book of clients is genuinely difficult. Deadlines are spread across the year, each company has its own confirmation statement and accounts anniversary, and the consequences of missing a deadline range from financial penalties to company strike-off.
The tools most practices rely on — spreadsheets, shared calendar reminders, and individual portal logins — don't scale. They don't give principals visibility across the whole portfolio, they create credential security risk, and they make it hard to onboard new team members efficiently.
WebFiling exists to replace that patchwork with a single, purpose-built system that's fast to learn, secure by design, and deeply integrated with the Companies House electronic filing gateway.
What we are not
WebFiling is a software platform. We are not a Companies House agent, an accountancy firm, or a legal services provider. We do not prepare your accounts, advise on statutory obligations, or act as a regulated professional on your behalf.
The platform facilitates the electronic submission of filing data you prepare. All legal obligations remain with the company, its officers, and the professionals you authorise to act on their behalf.
How it works
WebFiling submits filings to Companies House using the official XML Software Filing Gateway. Every accepted submission receives a Companies House transaction reference in real time. We maintain no separate filing queue — your data goes directly to Companies House servers.
Your account data is stored on UK-hosted infrastructure, encrypted at rest, and protected with email-based two-factor authentication on every login.
