No. AAA WebFiling is independent software operated by HAMILTONN LTD and is not part of Companies House.

It is designed primarily for accountants, company secretaries, law firms and other authorised professional users who need to manage recurring Companies House work across more than one UK company. A company may also use the platform for its own authorised work where the relevant workflow is available.

The current application includes supported confirmation statement and annual accounts software-filing workflows, a company incorporation workflow, and selected Companies House API/OAuth company actions. Guided accounts data entry currently covers supported micro-entity and dormant scenarios; a supported completed-document upload route is also available. Availability can depend on the company, user verification, account permissions and Companies House requirements.

Yes, supported software-filing workflows use the Companies House XML Gateway. The application also has separate API/OAuth integrations for other supported company actions. Not every filing type uses the same technical channel.

The platform manages its configured presenter channel for the supported gateway workflow. That does not remove company-specific requirements: the correct company authentication code is still required where Companies House requires it, and personal codes are required where identity-verification rules apply.

Not necessarily. The application distinguishes sending or acknowledgement from later acceptance or rejection. Supported XML filing records retain response information and can follow later Companies House status.

No. The software can provide a workflow for implemented account types, but eligibility for micro-entity, dormant or any other accounts regime is a legal/accounting question for the company and its advisers. The user must ensure the accounts are complete, approved and appropriate.

Yes. Identity verification became a legal requirement from 18 November 2025. Current Companies House guidance says directors who are required to verify need to do so and provide their personal code as part of the relevant confirmation statement process. No automatic 14-day subscription trial is currently configured in the live billing system. The public pricing page reads the current active public plans from the application configuration so the website does not advertise a trial that is not actually enabled.

They depend on the plan and service. The live service price list shows which transaction services are included and the effective pay-as-you-go price for each public plan.

Yes. The service prices listed on the pricing page include the applicable Companies House charges for those listed services. Optional expert/managed-service assistance and separately requested third-party work can carry additional charges, which are shown before payment.

The application contains a Stripe-based billing integration. Where that checkout is enabled, card collection is handled through the payment provider rather than by the application storing raw card numbers.

The current authentication flow uses time-limited email codes as part of login. Authentication routes are rate-limited as an additional application control.

No, and the security page does not claim that. Selected sensitive application values — such as stored Companies House OAuth tokens — use Laravel encrypted storage, and sessions are configured for encryption. Other application data uses normal database structures protected by the wider server and access-control environment.

Public availability does not automatically stop information about an identifiable living person from being personal data. The platform does not rely on the contrary claim. Professional users must assess their own data-protection obligations for the information they process.

No. The current service runs on Hamiltonn-managed IONOS/Plesk infrastructure, but the public website does not make an unsupported contractual guarantee that every backup, integration or processing operation is restricted to a single geography. Organisations needing a formal residency commitment should obtain it separately.

No. It is software. It helps organise and execute supported administrative workflows but does not replace legal, accounting, tax or company-secretarial advice.

The company and the people authorised to act for it remain responsible for ensuring the information submitted is complete, accurate and legally appropriate. Companies House determines whether a filing is accepted.
